I had a bittersweet experience at Angkor Village Resort & Spa. The grounds were beautiful, filled with lush greenery, but the swimming pool was under construction during my stay, which was disappointing. My room was cozy and well-furnished, but I found the bed to be a bit hard for my liking. Fortunately, the friendly staff made my experience better, and the breakfast buffet was a highlight.

My stay at Angkor Village Resort & Spa was lovely! The rooms were stunning and spacious, especially with the private pool right outside. The staff was friendly, but at times, it felt like there were too many of them for the amount of guests. While I loved the unique setting and Khmer-style architecture, the main pool wasn't the best. Overall, a great getaway with a few quirks.

The resort is just outside of town, which I actually loved. It felt like a peaceful oasis while still being only a short tuk-tuk ride to the action of Pub Street and close to Angkor Wat.
Dining

Breakfast was great, with a la carte options that beat traditional buffets. However, I found the restaurant prices a bit high compared to nearby places, so I hit up Pub Street for some cheaper eats most nights.

The resort has beautiful grounds and a pool that winds through it. While my own pool was fab, the main pool was a bit murky when I checked it out, which was a letdown.
